"As a student I was always motivated by helping people transform their lives. This was reinforced by studying and experiencing healthcare in different countries across the world and understanding the difficulties faced by many people home and abroad in accessing excellent healthcare. I have always believed in innovation and striving for excellence and was fortunate to have developed and implemented what at the time was a new concept in dentistry called a dental access center. Setting this up from scratch in Rochdale, allowed us to be able to alleviate what was a crisis of accessing dentists. This innovative center played and continues to play a pivotal role in helping people access dentistry in Rochdale."
